ACTIVE RETIREE MEMBERS: People who receive pensions and/or health benefits from PERS.
BENEFICIARY MEMBERS: People who receive PERS benefits by virtue of a deceased spouse.
AFFILIATE MEMBERS: People currently employed whose employer contracts with PERS for retirement benefits.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS: People who share similar goals; i.e., spouse, relative, friend, etc.
Dues are $54.00 per year, and may be paid in full for the year or automatically deducted by PERS at $4.50 per month. Affiliate members cannot use dues deduction. Dues are not prorated. Due to current tax laws, dues are not deductible as a charitable donation.
